Bodega x Converse Poorman Weapon

Bodega x Converse Poorman Weapon: "

Bodega has been behind some pretty damn cool releases over the years so we’ve all been wondering what they were up to for 2010. Looks like we got our answer in the form of this Converse Poorman Weapon.

The shoe that started out as simply a dumbed down version of the Converse Weapon wins pretty hard in this limited edition release. The upper is done in waxed canvas with a deerskin lining that can be revealed by rolling down the shoes higher than high top upper. Look for them to drop March 13th at Bodega in a very cool shearling lined collectors case that comes complete with a flask. At a price of $120 surely all 100 pairs will be copped immediately. Mi Collection adidas – Samba, Nizza, Superstar & Stan Smith

I'm probably partial to the gray high tops. Lower right hand corner probably warrants some sort of WTF? explanation from the design team.

Mi Collection adidas – Samba, Nizza, Superstar & Stan Smith: "

The adidas Mi Collection has taken a few of our favorite models on a pretty wild ride and the results are no where near tame. The Samba, Nizza, Superstar and Stan Smith are all given very cool grey/black looks that are even interactive.

The Nizza high has a fold down ankle while the Stan Smith actually has a zip off upper that reveals a blue rip stop upper. Both the Samba and Superstar are done low and while the Superstar looks fairly normal the spatted Samba is very hard to miss. These haven’t dropped stateside yet but chances are if you stalk an adidas Originals store you can get the drop on a pair. Via S&M

Nike Sportswear – The Brazil Black Pack

Not sure why anyone from Brazil would ever want to cover this much of their body. But in America it's fly.

Nike Sportswear - The Brazil Black Pack

Following yesterday’s World Cup madness in London, Beinghunted has a great new feature on the “Brazil Black Pack” from Nike Sportswear.

Changing Brasil’s signature yellow to black – leaving only the crest in its traditional color – is a rather bold move. But an intentional one, of course. As a 5-time international football champion, Brasil’s team is well respected, even feared as a tough opponent. While on the field this toughness is evident through the team’s gameplay, before and after it will be the color scheme of this new capsule collection of jerseys, soft- and hardshells: The Brasil Black Pack!

Of a number of quality pieces, our favorite is the M-65 jacket pictured above. Limited quantities of these items will be available to the public at select retailers. Stay tuned for more.

Take the leap for more from The Brazil Black Pack by NSW.

Classic - Get Yours For Spring

Pic via: hypebeast.com

These are some clean shoes! Gotta love the two tone twist that Volta added to the chukka look. Wear these with a pair of slim twill pants (either the 5-pocket or the traditional trouser silhouette will do the trick)and you've got yourself a classic look with a modern twist perfect for spring. Don't forget the chambray shirt up top!

Prince of Cool

Hauntingly beautiful, perpetually troubled. Baker wore his dark suits and white shirts with an indifference only a jazz legend could muster.

Today we get a first look at an interesting new project by Berlin sneaker boutique Solebox. This time they worked with German watch maker Sinn on their U2 diver watch. The watch comes with a black case, black rubber bracelet and black dial, featuring a subtle Solebox logo and a few orange accents on the dial and the bezel. Hopefully we can soon tell you more about the project.
